Stable, a Layer-1 Blockchain network powered by USDT and designed to enable seamless financial transactions through stablecoins, has announced a partnership with Chipper Cash, one of Africa’ s leading payment providers, to implement StableChain for facilitating stablecoin and digital asset payments across the Chipper Cash platform. Stable’ s technology is designed to make stablecoin payments fast, accessible and easy for users, providing an immediate solution for payment processing in emerging markets. Chipper Cash, which has a customer base of seven million users across nine African countries, will leverage Stable’ s fast and cost-effective payment rails to enable consumers to send and receive funds from around the globe at any time. The partnership significantly reduces the time and friction associated with moving monetary value into Africa, making transactions more efficient and supporting the continued growth of the continent’ s expanding financial ecosystem.
Digital innovation within the education sector is advancing rapidly, with technologies such as Artificial Intelligence( AI) offering significant opportunities to enhance teaching and learning across countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Cambridge University Press and Assessment( Cambridge) and HP are inviting education leaders in the region to participate in the Education Technology( EdTech) Fellowship to explore technological innovation in education. The programme builds on and exchanges the skills of senior policymakers and education leaders to design forwardlooking, evidence-based and scalable technology strategies. This cohort marks the Fellowship’ s first expansion into North Africa, following strong engagement in Europe, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Gulf. The growing Fellowship community now includes 99 Fellows across 49 countries. During the Fellowship, leaders examine how emerging technologies such as AI can underpin strategic innovation, build practical expertise to design and implement EdTech strategies that expand access and promote equity and enhance their professional development.
