What motivated the Open University of Kenya to partner with MindHYVE. ai, and how does this collaboration align with your long-term vision for Digital Transformation in higher education?
The Open University of Kenya was motivated by a shared strategic vision: using advanced digital innovation to expand access, quality and relevance of higher education at scale. As a fully digital public university, OUK was established to reimagine higher education delivery, not merely digitise traditional models. Partnering with MindHYVE. ai allows us to embed agentic AI capabilities directly into our learning ecosystem, moving beyond static LMS tools toward adaptive, intelligent learning systems.

Under the MoU, the parties will jointly explore implementation of ArthurAI as a virtual academic enabler, supporting learners and educators through adaptive, real-time learning assistance. The collaboration also includes curriculum codesign, impact evaluation, localisation aligned with Kenya’ s education policy and adherence to the Kenya Data Protection Act( 2019).
