What are your priorities for the next evolution of SIIMS?
The next phase of SIIMS is about moving from a school management system to an intelligent education ecosystem. Generative AI will play a major role. I see AI assistants helping teachers analyse learner performance, prepare reports, identify students requiring intervention and potentially support lesson preparation.
Conversational AI is another major priority. I want the school leader to be able to ask the system a question naturally and receive an answer based on authorised institutional data.
Smart classrooms are another part of the vision. Imagine a student moving through the school ecosystem: from the hostel in the morning, to class, to the dining area, to the field for an activity, and back to the hostel. The objective is
