AI workloads multiply and employees and applications become increasingly distributed, African enterprises are being forced to rethink the role of connectivity. Bandwidth remains important, but the emerging network is about much more than speed. Resilience, security, application performance, visibility and the ability to intelligently combine fibre, 5G and satellite connectivity are becoming equally critical.
The shift reflects a fundamental change in what constitutes the modern enterprise. Users, applications and data are no longer concentrated within corporate offices and data centres. They are distributed across branches, public and private clouds, edge environments and remote locations.
