RWANDA
Co-creation Hub ( CcHub ), a technology innovation company , has closed the first round of investments for the CcHub Syndicate . Through the investment programme , the company has selected three technology companies to invest in .
These companies are focused on building critical digital infrastructure to be deployed across Africa and become successful tech companies in 2021 .
Rwanda ’ s e-passport project has received a huge a boost . The country recently became the 75th country to join the International Civil Aviation Organisation ( ICAO ) Public Key Directory ( PKD ), a move that is expected to drive faster the implementation of the Rwanda ’ s electronic passport project .
It is now more than a year and a half since the country began issuing e-passports also known as East Africa e-passport .
