The 2021 SonicWall Cyber Threat Report highlights how COVID-19 provided threat actors with ample opportunity for more powerful , aggressive and numerous attacks , thriving on the fear and uncertainty of remote and mobile workforces navigating corporate networks from home . SonicWall works with organisations across verticals , including government departments , healthcare and universities , and found that all are in need of radically reimagining their cybersecurity model having quickly pivoted to remote working during the crisis .

What business opportunities have come SonicWall ’ s way as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and the shift to remote working ?

Over the last year , we have been serving a large number of our installed base with different technologies from our portfolio like Secure Remote Access , cloud application and endpoint security solutions . SonicWall is identifying and creating definitions for around 140,000 new threats each business day . These are pushed to SonicWall devices and services to stop known threats , which usually solves around 99 % of threats today .
