NIGERIA
In line with its commitment to bridge the digital gap in Africa , West Africa ’ s pioneer solar-based Internet and voice service provider , Tizeti , has announced it will expand its operations within Nigeria and Ghana , and into new neighbouring Cote d ’ Ivoire and Togo in addition to mulling listing its Nigerian Subsidiary .
With over 2.8 million subscribers on its platform , a revenue of over N11 billion ( US $ 26.3 million ) over 10 years , and no debt , the firm is exploring an initial public offer ( IPO ) in the stock market for investors and shareholders while setting its eyes on expanding its footprint across the Francophone and Anglophone countries in West Africa .

Crypsense Digital Group , a Kenyan based digital assets capacity building and management platform is among the first African based Web 3 start-ups to qualify for the Draper VeChain Web 3 Accelerator Programme , a 12-week accelerator programme delivered globally to high-growth Blockchain companies . The team pitched together with some of top 15 globally fastest growing Web 3 start-ups in Crypto , DeFi , NFTs , Metaverse and GameFi to a panel of expert judges from the Web 3 industry from VeChain , Draper University and Cream and was qualified for the programme .

Leading digital payment solutions provider Network International has announced it will bring WhatsApp for business banking services to financial institutions across Africa through a landmark collaboration with Infobip . The full-stack cloud communications company is one of the world ’ s largest providers of A2P SMS services and will support Network International in its commitment to financial inclusion across Africa . In addition to helping financial institutions reach their customers through a familiar and reliable channel , the agreement will help them deliver world-class support and seamless services in a personal , timely , and reliable manner .

IVORY COAST
he African Development Bank ’ s Coding for Employment programme has selected 500 changemakers , 45 % of whom are women , from four countries for the pilot Digital Ambassadors Programme . The selected Digital Ambassadors will embark on a three-month course during which they will be equipped with in-demand digital skills , such as software development , and soft skills , such as problem solving , project management and communication .
