wWhat would you describe as your most memorable achievement ?

This would definitely be Summiting Kili , being above the clouds , at just under six kilometres high with little oxygen , and seeing bits of the Glacier . Its magnificent , stark , and humbling . Knowing that you can push your body with your mind to overcome all obstacles is life changing .
What first made you think of a career in technology ?
What style of management philosophy do you employ with your current position ?
One of trust and empowerment . Helping connect people across the business for better outcomes .
What do you think is the current hot technology talking point ?
AI – the ethics surrounding AI , the employment impact and how to embrace it for the better of humankind .
I actually tried several different careers and industries before I hit technology . Then , I just knew that it was the place for me , ever changing with new technology developments all the time . It ’ s exciting because nothing stays the same , every day you learn something new , and I can see first-hand the amazing impact that technology has on the world . Helping surgeons operate in remote areas through virtual glasses , connecting farmers and consumers for a healthier supply chain and being able to analyse and model data for answers are just a few of the examples that come to mind .
In Africa skills and change management is still one the biggest challenges faced when implementing new technologies . Both aspects need to be taken into consideration and planned for .
