Cisco to empower 25 million people with digital skills over the next decade
By 2025 , 97 million new jobs will be created due to advances in technology and automation . Cisco is helping millions of people around the globe gain access to those jobs by empowering the workforce of the future with education and career opportunities through its Networking Academy .
Founded in 1997 , Cisco Networking Academy is celebrating its 25th anniversary and continues to be one of the longest-standing IT skillsto-jobs programmes in the world .

Cisco has announced its goal to provide digital skills training to 25 million learners globally over the next ten years through its Cisco
Networking Academy programme .

SmartCIC launches connectivity and field services across 32 African countries
SmartCIC , a global managed service provider , has expanded its fixed-line connectivity and field service solutions across 32 African countries . Customers gain the support of expert on-the-ground engineers in each country , delivering consistent performance and customer experience in local markets throughout the continent .
In addition to fixed-line connectivity , SmartCIC has launched satellite services connecting Africa ’ s 54 countries . The company adds Africa to its global footprint , which includes over 26,000 certified engineers spanning six continents .
