Telco Orange and the German Cooperation recently inaugurated the 13th “ Orange Digital Centre ”, in Conakry , a digital ecosystem entirely dedicated to the development of digital skills and innovation , attended by the highest political and administrative authorities from Guinea , representatives of Germany in Guinea , members of the Management and Presidency of the Board of Orange Guinea and Representatives of Orange Middle East and Africa .

BOTSWANA
Orange Botswana has become the first Orange affiliate in Africa to launch 5G commercially . The 5G network is available in greater Gaborone and Francistown , covering 30 % of the population from theNovember 11th , 2022 .
The development follows the launch of Botswana ’ s first Orange Digital Centre recently , which will help bridge the digital divide and prepare Batswana youth for employment in a blossoming digital ecosystem .

KENYA
Liquid C2 , a business of Cassava Technologies , a pan-African technology group , recently opened the doors of its first Cyber Security Fusion Centre ( CSFC ) in Nairobi , Kenya , making this the second centre of its kind in Africa .
Kenyan businesses have seen increased digital adoption , and the country ’ s connected population in early 2021 was nearly 22 million . The increased number of digitally transformed businesses and individuals means that the target pool for malicious entities is also becoming wider . As a result , Liquid C2 has witnessed immense interest from customers wanting to partner with the company to benefit from the services Fusion Centre offers in South Africa .

ANGOLA
The African Development Bank has rolled out the Remote Appraisal , Supervision , Monitoring and Evaluation ( RASME ) project in Angola , following a three-day training session in the capital , Luanda . RASME is a set of real-time digital datagathering tools and processes that enable the bank , its clients and development partners to better prepare projects , report on progress and evaluate impact openly and transparently .
The digital data gathering suite of tools used for the RASME project is based on the KoBoToolbox platform , an open-source ICT solution developed by researchers affiliated with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative .
