ICOSNET , which currently offers customers Internet access services , unified communications services , cyber security , and cloud solutions , will now have access to Liquid ’ s world-class pan-African network for their clients ’ connectivity needs .

The Lemonade Crypto Climate Coalition , the first-of-itskind , blockchain based parametric crop protection for subsistence farmers , announced the completion of its initial launch . Led by the Lemonade Foundation , the Lemonade Crypto Climate Coalition provided protection for farmers ’ livelihoods impacted by weather events during the recent growing season in Kenya . At the end of the season , those eligible were paid out via smart blockchain contracts . The use of smart contracts enabled fast cash transfers without the need for filing claims .

VigiPay , a Nigerian fintech providing digital payment services , and ThetaRay , a provider of AI-powered transaction monitoring technology , announced they will collaborate to protect VigiPay ’ s growing business against money laundering , sanctions violations , and other financial crime risks . ThetaRay will provide VigiPay the SONAR AML solution , a cloud-based transaction monitoring and screening platform that can detect the earliest signs of sophisticated money laundering activity . The new system will enable VigiPay to achieve regulatory compliance , and consumer transaction transparency .
Africell ’ s successful entry into Angola has exceeded expectations , with over 7 million subscribers onboarded through Csmart digital BSS platform within 8 months of launch . 5 Heads of States including a King , 44 ministers and around 4000 delegates from 91 countries have attended the Transform Africa Summit 2023 . The summit was characterized by signings of various agreements including a $ 1.5 million project by Smart Africa and the African Development Bank to streamline digital trade and e-commerce policies across 10 African countries . Other partnerships included I4Policy foundation , Hitachi Systems Security , Zhejiang , Gaia-x European Association for Data , Internet Society and Estonian Association of IT .
