This data can be used to track suspects , investigate crimes , and gather evidence . The A10 solution allows telecommunications providers to comply with these requests by maintaining session connection records , SCRs . SCRs are records of all session connections made across the A10 solution . They include the date , time , duration , and IP addresses involved in all session connections .
This information can be used to map the shared public IP address used during an incident under investigation back to a subscriber ’ s private IP address . Mapping makes it possible to identify exactly which subscriber ’ s service instance was being used during the incident .
