Metacom , is a South Africa based , managed service provider that operates from Cape Town and has around 100 employees . It hosts a live , real-time environment that is made up of digital displays , audio and radio streaming , full spectrum Wi-Fi services , VoIP , retail analytics .
As a managed service provider Metacom cannot experience any downtime or latency with its network since that would directly impact the performance of its hosted services for its customer base . As Metacom approached the five-year technology upgrade cycle milestone , it decided to look for a partner that understood its requirement of scalability , and opted for Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure and solution stack . systems , many of which had undergone customisation and were no longer supported .
PPECB has now implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 ’ s financial modules , marking the beginning of a comprehensive ERP solution . The current roadmap extends the implementation to encompass a wider array of D365 functionalities . These modules will help to bring improvements across the cold chain .
