In a move aimed at enhancing services for Moroccans residing abroad , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , African Cooperation , and Moroccan Expatriates has introduced a new procedure for proximity consular services . Key to the implementation of this procedure was the establishment of a centralised electronic registry of consular registrations . Simultaneously , new developments in computer systems for consular services were introduced , covering all aspects of the reform .

UNICEF Sierra Leone handed over 113 laptops and 23 projectors to the Ministry of Communications , Technology , and Innovation for young people in 39 schools across the country as part of the Giga project . Giga is a UNICEF-International Telecommunications Union initiative to connect every school to the Internet and every young person to information , opportunity , and choice .

Tanzania ’ s digital lifestyle telecommunication company , Tigo , which is a part of the Axian Telecom Group has won the prestigious Ookla Speedtest Award as the Fastest Mobile Network in Tanzania for the year 2023 . Since 2022 , Tigo committed to invest over TZS 1 trillion within 5 years to improve and modernise its network infrastructure , an investment that has significantly enhanced the telecom company ’ s customer ’ s digital experience .
IVORY COAST ( CÔTE D ’ IVOIRE )
Liquid Dataport announced a partnership with VIPNET , a privately-owned corporate Internet Service Provider , ISP in Côte d ’ Ivoire .
