There has been such hype about AI adoption , but we find is that there are often delays in taking that first step . Machine learning and data science can feel complex and out of reach . However , if businesses focus on the simple premise of : what is the problem we are trying to solve ? And who can I partner with who can solve it .
This is the smartest and most viable way forward possible that ensures opportunities are endless . Solutions which allow businesses to leverage off technology to make better decisions faster and with greater accuracy , will yield competitive edge and push the efficiency and customer centricity boundaries . We see Google as a non-competitive business and think of them as an enabler . They continue to astound me with their innovation , and their drive to assist businesses to create technology solutions which will shape the future . When I look at what they have made accessible to the man in the street and to companies , we could all benefit positively from their ideas and solutions .
Which aspects of your job role do you find rewarding and which challenging ?
The most rewarding part of my role is to see my team , customers and the ATG business flourishing and loving the choices they have made . Challenging aspects includes dealing with unconscious biases , managing unreasonable expectations , and sometimes much needed but difficult courageous conversations and decisions .
